Minneapolis is a great city, but it’s even better when you can bring your pup along! Whether you’re looking for fun things to do with your four-legged friend or just want to relax with a coffee in an outdoor patio, Minneapolis has something for everyone. Here are some of the best dog-friendly spots around town:
1) The Muddy Buddy Race
The Muddy Buddy Race is an annual event that takes place in Minneapolis each spring. The race consists of five miles of obstacles, mud pits and obstacles, followed by a party at the finish line. The date of this year’s event is April 27th and it costs $75 per person to participate. If you want to sign up for next year’s race or find out more about it before then check out their website https://www.mudrunmn.com/.
2) Frisbee Dog Park
The Frisbee Dog Park is located in Minnetonka, just north of Minneapolis. It’s a two-acre off-leash park that has separate areas for large and small dogs, as well as one of the only dog parks in the Twin Cities where you can bring your pooch without having to worry about any pesky leashes!
Frisbee Dog Park was created by some dedicated volunteers who wanted to provide an enjoyable place for both dogs and their owners to play together. The park also hosts group events like “pawty parties” where you can bring your pup along with you while enjoying food trucks or live music from local bands (including yours truly!).
3) Lassies Bistro and Café
If you’re heading to Lassies Bistro and Café, be sure to bring your dog. This restaurant is one of the few in Minneapolis that allows dogs on their patio, where they can enjoy a meal together. Not only that, but they also have a menu designed just for them!
If you want some good food while spending time with your furry friend, this is definitely the place to go.
4) PawshPhoto Place Pet Day Spa
PawshPhoto Place Pet Day Spa is a great place to bring your dog for daycare. They have an indoor play area and an outdoor play area, so your pup will never get bored. Plus, they offer grooming services as well!
If you’re looking for something special for your dog this holiday season, Smokey’s Place offers doggie massages and even has a doggie menu with items like chicken pot pie and turkey dinner (on Thanksgiving).
5) Lost Lake Resort & Campground
Lost Lake Resort & Campground is a dog-friendly campground located in the northern woods of Minnesota, about an hour from Minneapolis. The resort features a swimming beach, hiking trails and a dog park. Dogs are allowed at all campsites except those designated as pet friendly (there are only two). Lost Lake also has cabins for rent so you can stay there with your furry friend if you don’t have one already!
This place is great if your pooch has allergies or doesn’t like being around other dogs because it’s far away from civilization–it’s quiet and peaceful here! If they do like socializing with other pups though, Lost Lake offers organized playgroups where owners can bring their pups together to run around freely without having any worries about them getting into trouble while playing together under supervision by staff members who make sure everyone behaves appropriately while playing outdoors together.”
